Every Sunday @ 10:30am
We are all engaged in some kind of work, whether it comes with a paycheck or not. Regardless of the kind of work you do, from bussing tables, to taking care of your home and family, to managing a business, chances are you want to find meaning in your endeavors. Our purpose as disciples of Jesus is to make other disciples of Jesus.
This study and training is open to anyone who wants to do just that.
In this meaningful class with Professor N.T. Wright, we will examine a series of Biblical texts that discuss how Christians should consider the work they do. As you’re guided through Old and New Testament teachings, you’ll discover concrete actions you can take to live out the fullness of being in the image of God, and become an agent for positive change in a broken society.
See "Events" page (under "More" above) for more information.
Part 1 is a digital course (content-driven). It includes content to read, videos to watch, questions to answer, and suggestions for further reading.
Part 2 is an in-person time together (relationally driven). When you complete Part 1, Fr. John will invite you and others to discuss any aspects of Part 1 you would like or need to for clarifications. Together, you'll talk about what God is doing at the Church of ACTS, the vision for our community, your gifting and passions, and how you can get involved.
